Job description

The General Production Laborer is an entry-level position performing a variety of work in the manufacturing and production process of making concrete products. This position performs general manual labor tasks such as loading, unloading, and moving materials. Assists operators with machinery used in the production process.

Currently seeking candidates to expand production. Positions will be either 1st or 2nd shift. Looking for some experience in manufacturing and a good understanding of Safety. Strong potential of these positions becoming full time based on Attendance, Work Performance/Ethics and Safety performance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Operation of various hand operated tools related to construction work. Sets up equipment to complete concrete products. Places steel reinforcing in forms in the manufacturing production process. Places concrete into forms. Tear down forms after the concrete is cured.
Miscellaneous - Regular, timely attendance. Positions will be either 1st or 2nd shift. Experience in manufacturing, good understanding of Safety needed.
KNOWLEDGE, DEMONSTRATED SKILLS & ABILITIES
Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse work environment with all levels of employees.
Able to be self-motivated, takes initiative and has positive problem solving skills.
Able to use hand tools.
Basic mathematics skills and be able to read a measuring tape.
Ability to understand the English language and follow specific instructions and procedures.
Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently.
HOURS OF WORK:
8 - 10 hour shift typically five to six days a week including overtime as required.
