ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Head of Engineering to lead our engineering team. You will be responsible for the platform frontend, backend, database, server infrastructure and DevOps. This will be a hands-on role where you will be coding as a full-stack web developer, along with leading the team on architecture and best practices, mentoring and hiring. This position is great for someone with a few years of tech lead experience, now looking to step up into a people leadership role.

You should have extensive experience developing both frontend and backend in our web stack or similar stacks: React, NodeJS, SQL and No-SQL DBs, AWS. You should have experience in developing and architecting complex systems.

This position is based in Alpharetta Ga and will be local in-office starting September 2021.

Role Requirements

•At least 3 years of experience in NodeJS development

•At least 3 years of experience with modern JS front-end frameworks such as Angular, React+Redux or similar

•At least 2 years of experience with building large scale microservices oriented applications and architecture

•Hands-on experience with public cloud services (AWS preferred)

•Experience working with SQL and No-SQL DBs

•Ability to transform product requirement to software design and implementation

•Creativity and excellent problem-solving skills

•Write clean code, use design patterns and know how to build maintainable modern web applications

•Demonstrate knowledge of latest Javascript frameworks and trends and ability to articulate uses for the same.

•Understand how software architecture from end to end: from Kubernetes container to React component

•People person with the will to help others whenever needed

•Have an active Github account and are passionate about maintaining, using and contributing to open-source projects.

•Required - Bachelors in Mathematics/computer science

•Preferred - Masters in Computer Science
