Together with superhuman strategy, atomic creative, intermedia magic, interwoven ingenuity and indomitable innovation we dream beyond the realm of the possible - and do it.The Account Director will be responsible for supporting the Client Relationship Leader to drive interwoven programs which may include advertising, scientific and data milestones, branding and positioning, digital and social strategy, corporate communications, clinical trial recruitment, internal communications, KOL development, advocacy relations, executive visibility, approval and launch communications, patient and HCP engagement and public affairs. This person will have a deep understanding of client subject matter and ability to communicate effectively internally as well as with clients and other external partners. An ability to manage teams and execute program tactics is critical to success in this role.Job ResponsibilitiesKeep a pulse on client industry focus, therapeutic and competitive landscape; flag associated organic growth opportunities or any impact on client strategyOversees program timelines and delegates project deliverables to team; brings potential issues and solutions to VPEffectively manage time and resources across projects; help junior staff team members prioritize and manage timeReview media monitoring reportsLead development and review strategic communications materials and other deliverables (e.g., plans, corporate/product narratives, messages and Q&As, results reports)Serve as a day-to-day client contact on specific workstreams and mobilize interwoven teams towards progress, action and resultsReview research findings and key takeaways to ensure communications recommendations align with account goalsEnsure ability to execute on client event logistics/show flow; attend client events and manage on-site client needsEnsure team alignment through dialogue, summarizing information, ideas; ensures progress against next stepsOwn interwoven projects from inception through completionReview media materials to ensure alignment with account goalsAnticipate client needs across projects/workstreams and proactively manage relationshipsAdhere to Spectrum's guidelines in recording and submitting time, expenses, and POs utilizing proper job codesReview and understand Spectrum's PlaybookSupport development of new business proposals, applying relevant research and insights; support organic growthAbility to spot check, ask the right questions, tap Editorial/Science teams as needed to ensure material consistency, accuracy, and proper use of grammarKeep leadership informed and bring them in when necessary to ensure high-quality service and executionLead client calls and in-person meetingsLead team in the development of tactical slides for communications plansLead development of project materials with intermedia team that supports strategic programsParticipate in agency activities and professional development opportunities; communicate areas for improvementDemonstrate and nurture agency values and principlesDesired Skills and QualificationsObtained a Bachelor's Degree in communications, English or similar majorHas at least 5-7 years of agency experience, including experience in healthcare and sciencePossesses advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) and familiarity with media tools (e.g., Cision, Bloomberg Terminal, HootSuite)Deep understanding of client subject matter, industry landscapeAbility to oversee multiple projects simultaneouslyFocuses on extreme attention to detailExhibits a professional demeanorAbility to excel in a team environment as well as work independentlyDemonstrates resourcefulness, independent thinking, and effective problem solvingShowcases excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skillsSpectrum is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.I5wdgIcZ7j
