As part of Ocwen's Total Rewards team, the Associate Analyst, Lending Compensation supports the development and administration of Ocwen's U.S. compensation programs, in alignment with the overall rewards philosophy. You will provide accurate and efficient administration of incentive plans, calculating, reporting and processing timely payouts of commissions and other incentive compensation in accordance with plan documents and company governance requirements. Additionally, you will develop reporting and analytics to forecast future payments, determine accruals, and identify trends in compensation based on our pay-for-performance philosophy.

You will serve as a key point of contact to employees, business leadership teams and Human Resources Business Partners in the execution of incentive compensation programs, and will have opportunities to develop innovative solutions in program design, workflow processes and reporting. In this role, you must be accuracy-driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about data.

JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Administer incentive and commission plans, including managing eligibility, calculating payments, soliciting approvals, and coordinating payments through payroll
  • Prepare compensation budgets, forecasts and accruals in coordination with Finance
  • Analyze incentive plan effectiveness in driving desired results at individual and organization level (i.e. the ROE of the plan)
  • Advise on incentive plan design by modeling changes to align with cost and performance objectives, and reviewing plan documents to ensure accurate administration
  • Develop effective communications to plan participants on payout targets and results, and respond to inquiries as needed
  • Support requirements of plan audits, regulatory agency reporting, risk assessments and key control monitoring
  • Maintain plan participation, targets and job codes in HRIS (Oracle Fusion)
  • Partner with HR and Finance teams on other various projects and initiatives as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience (0-2 years) in compensation, particularly incentive compensation, preferred but not required
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced - macros, pivot tables, etc.), along with regular proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Possesses strong financial acumen and analytical skills
  • Utilizes outstanding organization and time management skills to manage and meet multiple deadlines and respond to changing priorities
  • Works well under remote leadership; i.e. self-directed
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Navigates web-based HRIS (Oracle Fusion a plus) and reporting applications

TRAINING / LICENSING REQUIREMENTS

  • Must pass the Company's Background Screening process prior to beginning employment. Additionally, as a condition of employment, you may be required to pass client-specific background check requirements or Federal/State licensing requirements, if applicable.
