WHAT IS THE JOB?
The Associate Merchandiser will focus on excellence throughout the product life cycle-from planning, to buying, to managing inventory, to analyzing selling. The Merchandising & Planning team ensures that the company brings in the right product at the right time in the right amount at the right price. This role reports to the Director, Merchandising & Planning and is a full-time, exempt position.
WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES?
•Execute key product strategies by analyzing and reacting to data to drive the business
•Own order management including SKU building, PO entry and maintenance for Sid Mashburn brand
•Manage daily and weekly inventory replenishment and allocation needs to optimize inventory
•Manage seasonal product assortment tools
•Optimize Basic Stock Replenishment Inventory
•Conduct thorough competitive analysis and make informed recommendations based on findings
•Participate in weekly store feedback calls; react and execute accordingly
•Conduct weekly and seasonal hindsight to inform larger product and design team
•Partner with cross-functional partners to execute and deliver results
•Field ad hoc store and web requests, custom orders, shipping inquiries
