Job description


The Business Development Coordinator will ensure the highest level of vendor growth, satisfaction, retention, compliance and operational performance & efficiency through an effective management of AAHOA's vendor partners.


    -Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with vendor partners providing best in class support and follow up.
    -Make follow up calls after all sales as well as regular calls to all vendor partners (industry partner and allied) to build relationships, identify and monitor vendor concerns and continuously get feedback to improve relationships with the partners
    -Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting as required to AAHOA leadership
    -Manage and report revenue share tracking to ensure compliance with all vendor contracts
    -Manage systems, invoicing and payment management to provide highest level of support for vendors and AAHOA leadership
    -Manage Allied membership relationships to drive stability and growth for continual renewal and growth
    -Evaluate vendor offerings and marketplace to identify value-added options, best practices and emerging trends.
    -Proactively plan for operational impacts on vendor partners to ensure vendor satisfaction.
    -Develop innovative ideas on how to improve the overall satisfaction with vendor partnership, exhibitions, conversions etc.
    -Establish standards and measurement tools to track vendor satisfaction with different levels of partnerships.
    -Facilitate vendor relationships with the AAHOA members and connect them to increase their return on investment by creating connections and opportunities with the right type of members.
    -Facilitate the resolution of escalated vendor related issues and recommend solutions and follow up during the process as well as communicate resolution to ensure problems have been resolved.
    -Guide and educate vendors on how to sell and exhibit to our members.
    -Provide quarterly and annual reviews with regards to vendor related issues.
    -Proactively reaching out to vendor partners for all AAHOA event registration and sponsorships
    -Promptly responding to all incoming email inquiries in a timely manner.
    -Collaborating with different departments for successful execution of all AAHOA Events
    -Assisting vendors with account updates and event registrations.
