POSITION BRIEF:

SRS Real Estate Partners has a full-time opportunity in its Atlanta office. The ideal candidate will have a real estate or business background. This is a great opportunity to gain firsthand experience in the retail real estate industry. This position is an entry position designed to build the necessary skills and knowledge for a career in retail real estate brokerage. The position will initially focus on account management support for one of the company's largest clients for approximately 18-24 months, and then transition into a junior broker role. The candidate will be responsible for managing the client tracking database, performing spreadsheet analysis as requested, assisting the marketing and account team in preparation of account materials, managing the client specific research web app, managing and assembling all required account reports, managing and conducting weekly and programmatic communications and conference calls, and supporting the account leadership team and Transaction Managers as required to meet the needs of this national real estate client:

  • Assisting with maintaining company and client databases and files
  • Assist as a liaison between the client and company team members
  • Pipeline management using company tracking software
  • Organize, maintain files and records
  • Performing special projects as needed
  • Assist Account Managers and Transaction Managers with the qualification and documentation activities supporting the selection and gaining client approval for markets and real estate locations
  • Performing market research and analysis
  • Participate in creating presentations and proposals
  • Assist with client specific research platform, ongoing research and special projects
  • Assist with market valuation activities for location assignments


Job Requirements:
  • QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum 4-year degree. Analytical fields are preferred.
    • Desire to learn and take ownership of the position
    • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
    • Effective at multi-tasking and quickly prioritizing in a fast-paced and professional work environment
    • High integrity and a strong work ethic
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Interact effectively with all levels of the organization and the client
    • Real Estate License not required, but will need to acquire within six months

    LEARNING OBJECTIVES

    • Understanding retail business trends, nationally and locally
    • Understanding growth sectors of the market, recognizing consumer/retailer needs
    • Site Intelligence for Tenant Services.
    • Apply Client parameters to find solutions
    • Intimate knowledge of all types of deal structures
    • Intimate knowledge of CoStar, CRM, GIS, and Google Earth software
    • Lease analysis tools
    • Basic Real Estate knowledge
    • Working knowledge of retail properties/clientele
    • Market analysis for clients based on target audience/consumers
    • Negotiation skills
