Superintendent Tech USA is seeking Superintendent candidates with Commercial Construction experience for a full time position with large General Contractor here in Atlanta, GA.Qualifications:5 years related experience in the construction industry with a commercial and/or industrial general contractorProject experience should include schools, healthcare, hospitality, retail, restaurants, greater education buildings and any other commercial settingsExperience supervising and managing craftspeople and multiple subcontractors on multiple construction and repair projectsBasic computer understanding including e-mail, MS Office and internet accessGood oral communication skillsGood time management and organizational skillsAbility to work well in a team environmentB.S. degree in Construction Management or Engineering a plus but not requiredMust be willing to travel when requiredDuties:Ability to acquire and maintain OSHA Safety Course Certification, Red Cross First Aid, and CPR Certification.Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and job site operations for job order contracts in accordance with Superintendent's Manual.Review and provide input on project scope of work and development.Help to establish and maintain project schedules including start, progress, and completion schedules.Control all job site operations for compliance with contract requirements, noise and dust control, non-interruption of Owner activities, and utility shutdown procedures.Provide daily Safety awareness and inspections to ensure the safety and well being of all personnel at the job sites.Provide job site quality control checks to ensure the construction and materials are in accordance with project scope of work and Owner standards.Prepare and submit accurate, detailed, electronic daily reports for the project.Prepare agenda and hold job progress meetings with subcontractors to coordinate project progress with minutes distributed to all parties.Schedule all project activities in compliance with project schedule timelinesPunch list management and project closeout requirements.Team player working directly with PSO, PM, QC and sub contractors.About Tech USA: Tech USA, Engineering & Construction Solutions is a comprehensive provider of workforce and project support solutions throughout the Engineering, Construction, and Environmental Industries, including Construction Management, Environmental Services, Remediation, Geotechnical Services, Safety, MEP Design & Construction and Biofuels.
