Primary Responsibilities:
- Building operating expense forecasts and analyzing trends in revenue, medical cost and membership
- Reporting and analysis for business and finance leadership
- Research economic progressions to assist with the organization's financial planning
- Presents findings and recommendations to management
- Serve as a primary partner to the General Manager of the International EAP Product Team
- Manage forecasting, reporting and analysis of EAP revenue, benefit expense, and collaborate with SG&A function on the operating expense allocation
- Work with Accounting/Controllership and Actuarial functions to manage the month-end close process and produce timely and accurate reporting
- Interface with business leaders and build relationships in support of financial planning and performance measurement including reporting and analysis
- Perform month-end close analysis of variances to forecast/budget and present findings to the Product and Senior Management teams
- Create financial models and analyze key performance indicators
- Improve data accuracy and reliability in collaboration with the Accounting and Actuarial teams
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions

Requirement Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of relevant financial analysis or accounting experience
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS Power Point
- Ability to work in a matrix environment while positively influencing other functional areas
- Solid financial, analytical and business acumen
- Ability to generate innovative approaches and solutions to business opportunities
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or CPA
- Hyperion Essbase/SmartView and PeopleSoft
- Solid attention to detail
- Project management or process improvement experience
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others
- Ability to build solid relationships at all levels of the organization

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $71,400 to $127,400. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
