Summary of Job Description:

Serves as an assistant to the Human Resource Managers by helping them with any problems or questions they may have. Generates the reports for processing payroll on a weekly basis. Issues Cash Disbursement checks on an off-cycle basis, and processes all payroll calcs on an on-cycle basis.Primary Duties/Responsibilities: Inputs/updates employee data in PeopleSoft and ensures data accuracy Analyzes, corrects, inputs and processes payroll into PeopleSoft Establishes weekly calculation schedules for current and upcoming payrolls Identifies and corrects payroll errors before final paycheck processing Provides PeopleSoft support to the Human Resource Managers Answers incoming calls through the Symposium Phone System Processes Off Cycle Cash Disbursement Checks Generates all On Cycle Calcs for Payrolls Contributes to the Month End Processes Communication support for Kronos Serves as Backup for Entering/Processing Garnishments Special projects as assigned

Qualifications: Two years business experience, payroll experience preferred Task and goal oriented employee Works well with others Team Player Excellent oral and written communication skills Good computer skills Excel, People Soft experience a plus Attention to detail Customer Service skills Organized Good understanding of business process and workflow Problem solving skills
