Job description

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

* Selects, trains, and manages Area HR team
* Explains company policies and procedures, regulations, and other related requirements as relevant to the position and job functions.
* Creates and develops local recruitment tactics and strategies
* Handles performance management, progressive discipline, and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
* Develops and maintains a good working rapport with the human resource team, inter-department personnel as well as other departments within the facilities in the region, to assure that Human Resources activities meet the needs of the facilities in the region.
* Supervises worker's compensation processes, files and reports, and tracks as directed.
* Works with employees to complete required forms and documentation for FMLA and leave of absences. Responsible for ensuring that employees receive all required notices and information relating to FMLA and other leaves of absence.
* Supports the facilities' efforts and advises management of any issues/concerns.
* Maintains confidentiality of all employee and employment-related information to ensure individual rights are protected.

Preferred Education and Experience:

* 10 years of experience in the field of Human Resources.
* Experience managing the planning, development, implementation, and administration of Human Resources programs in the function of employment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, or training.
* Preferred Education:
* Bachelors Degree preferred
