Overview:
The Life Properties is a privately-owned, fully integrated real estate operating company focused on acquiring, renovating, and managing multi-family investment properties nationwide. We manage a diverse housing portfolio of over 8,700 apartment homes across the Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Madison, Indianapolis, Lexington, and Columbus markets. We are the property management arm of Olive Tree Holdings, a growing real estate investment firm focused on investments in C & B class value-add multifamily properties in growing markets in the Southern US. Olive Tree executes a value-add strategy to renovate the asset and improve the quality of on-site staff, thereby driving significant NOI growth for the asset. The Life Properties then takes over the acquisition and focuses on site management at each location.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with a minimum 5 years of property management and/or related management experience and/or training

College degree preferred

Yardi experience required

Some accounting knowledge preferred

Some knowledge of eviction law, Fair Housing mandates, and other legal issues affecting property management preferred

Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing

Effectively present information and respond to questions from various individuals and groups

Computer proficient in various operating systems, browsers and Internet navigation

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram, or scheduled form

Strong analytical ability but also the ability to connect and engage with people, be outgoing, helpful and transparent

LIHTC experience preferred

Responsibilities:
This role is charged with training employees in the use of Yardi Voyager and related systems, serving as the subject matter expert and first level of support. The Regional Systems Manager will take ownership of the technical support items for assigned communities in their territory.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage, prioritize, and resolve in-bound Yardi Voyager and other related technical support inquires via our internal help desk.

Determine specific support needs of communities in your territory to facilitate the development and implementation of new systems and processes.

Audit GPRs, AR Reports, etc. to identify areas for improvement within assigned territory.

Visit each site in territory bi-annually to meet the teams and address any issues in person.

Visit new properties as they are onboarded as needed to support a seamless transition for new hires.

Answer questions from personnel on-site or in the corporate office with a sense of urgency.

Act as liaison between software vendors and end users/stakeholders.

Provide support to Onsite Employees, Regional Managers, Accounting Team, and other Corporate Team Members.

Conduct meaningful and substantive technical training classes to ensure your territory is operating at peak efficiency.

Track employee participation in training and evaluate trainees.

Monitor compliance around Systems training in eLearning platforms.

Partner with Training Director to create weekly/monthly training schedule of a combination of live and webinar training.

Communicate regularly with management regarding goals, objectives and relevant concerns, opportunities, and solutions.

Assist in the setup of systems related items and ensure they are completed for acquisitions of new properties into your territory (systems including Yardi Voyager, payment processing, RENTCafe, RENTCafe Affordable, etc.)

Experience:

Yardi Voyager software: 3-5 years (Required)

Property Management: 3-5 years (Required)
