Currently, we are seeking to hire a Manager of Talent Acquisition and onboarding to support our Retail Teams. As People Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating organization-wide efforts to ensure that People are at the forefront of our culture. You support with building field talent acquisition plans and institute comprehensive onboarding and development programs that support our values using a people-driven focus aligned with ongoing strategic imperatives to support our Retail Management positions. This position will also conduct full life cycle Retail field recruitment in sourcing the best talent for Lovesac, as well as maintaining effective programs for field onboarding and development. The position provides special guidance and assistance to Retail Field Management on various Talent focused issues. You are extremely detail oriented with significant knowledge of Talent Acquisition, Onboarding and Talent Development as it relates retail. You contribute to our company culture by recognizing the internal customer needs and provide support at all times.

This position will report into Corporate Headquarters based Stamford, CT and will require flexibility to work both onsite as well as remote.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible to meet or exceed all goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Serve as a business partner with field hiring managers to develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies that result in client satisfaction.
  • Develop effective relationships within the organization and the hiring community to have influence and impact the recruiting process and hiring.
  • Recruit full-time field Associates. Manage full life cycle recruitment (post, source, prescreen, schedule, background, references, offer, onboarding, etc.). Complete hiring process within defined metrics to minimize overall time-to-start. Develop appropriate marketing strategies and define roles and responsibilities of hiring team.
  • Develop and implement creative and innovative sourcing strategies and techniques to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Provide professional expertise and support in the design, development and implementation of the talent review process that is required to achieve business goals and results in the creation of an internal bench of top talent.
  • Collect, analyze and maintain data gathered to inform targeted leadership development (e.g., succession planning)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in Retail field recruitment.
  • Consistent ability to work both remotely and report into Corporate Headquarters or designated showroom, as required and in accordance with Lovesac policies, CDC and State Guidelines.
  • Experience in capturing metrics and producing various employment reports.
  • Experience in all areas of sourcing such as the internet, social media, networking, employee referrals, job postings, as well as conducting open houses and job fairs.
  • Experience in working with applicant tracking systems and affirmative action plan requirements.
  • Must be results driven and utilize knowledge to meet or exceed KPIs and goals.
  • Must have proven time management skills and quickly adapts to a changing business environment.
  • Able to prioritize responsibilities with the appropriate level of urgency, able to listen and can use this information to solve problems, anticipate issues and make correct decisions based on a variety of situations.
  • Must take accountability and responsibility for your actions.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines consistently.
  • Must have superior communication skills; verbal, written and interpersonal skills; able to listen effectively to solve problems, anticipate issues and make effective decisions.

  • Proficiency required in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel & PowerPoint, and HRIS platform.
  • Must comply with the standards, policies and procedures outlined in the Lovesac Employee Handbook.
  • Must be capable of using and operating all equipment as required, including but not limited to: iPad, laptop, etc. Be able to move objects (including medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds) from a lower to a higher position or horizontally from position-to-position or be able to assemble furniture while working on the selling floor or in our warehouse.
  • Must be able to travel, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, for occasional meetings and conferences using various forms of transportation.
