CHASE Professionals is currently representing a company located in Atlanta, GA that is hiring for a Sr Financial Analyst to join their organization on a permanent basis. They are looking for an individual with a strong M&A background and background in public accounting preferred.

Main Responsibilities:

Main Purpose of the Job:
The position of Senior Financial Analyst is established to lead financial planning and analysis activity, coordinate the efforts of accounting analysts, meet the financial performance and reporting needs of the company, and assist with potential mergers and acquisitions.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Manage and assist with the monthly management reporting package
• Manage and assist with the budget and budgeting process
• Manage and assist with monthly, quarterly and annual variance analysis
• Prepare periodic benchmarking reporting and analysis
• Research and resolve financial inquiries from a variety of constituents - Senior Executives, Plant Managers, Corporate HQ, etc.
• Assist with merger and acquisition modeling and analysis
• Prepare ad hoc financial analysis, as needed
• Other projects on an as needed basis.

Education/Experience:

• B.A. degree in Finance or Accounting
• 7+ years total business experience
• Prefer public accounting background in audit or consulting services, financial planning and analysis experience in a large-company, multi-site manufacturing setting, and M&A experience.
• Collaborative team leadership experience.
