Job description

GHC Hospice is seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Professional to extend our market in the Brunswick, Ga area. Candidate should live in the Brunswick area or nearby vicinity. This position focuses on building a strong brand for the company, increasing our awareness in the communities outlined while improving the knowledge base about hospice with referral sources and the communities we serve. Strong healthcare experience is required.

Responsibilities:

Must have a strong sense of urgency

  • Build strategic customer relationships at hospitals, rehabilitation centers, community health facilities and specialty clinics to foster a long-term professional relationship based on hospice service knowledge, trust and continued education with a defined geographic territory
  • Helps patients and referral sources understand our value proposition and the benefit of our services
  • Meets or exceeds monthly admission targets
  • Proven track record and history of building and influencing customer relationships and goal achievement in the surrounding Jacksonville area
  • Develop strategies, tactics, marketing initiatives, and sales programs
  • Analyze local market, develop, execute successful marketing strategies and in-services
  • Experience with in-servicing and training healthcare office staff, physicians nurses and office managers
  • Plan daily activities to effectively and efficiently manage time and maximize productivity in assigned territory
  • Communicate marketing strategies with VP of Sales and Administrator
  • Communicate with other marketing team members weekly and coordinate co-marketing opportunities to build deeper relationships with Jacksonville based facilities that help serve GA based patients
  • Attends networking/medical professional meetings to represent GHC Hospice
  • Continuously conducts market assessments and develops a comprehensive marketing plan designed to meet volume projections
  • Serve as the GHC Hospice Community Liaison and promotes GHC's values by showing compassion and empathy through all communication
  • Ability to travel and cover all of Jacksonville Metro Area, include First Coast of North Florida


Leadership

Communicates and coordinates with patients, family, staff, and referral sources regarding care and status of referral

Active in community events and creates opportunities to give back and support the communities we work in

Demonstrates the mission, ethics, and goals of the organization in their personal and professional activities and behaviors

Has the ability to build rapport quickly

Very detailed oriented

Position Qualifications

Previous hospice sales experience is preferred, but talent and demonstrated sales performance is equally important.

Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Nursing or related field (Nursing Degree preferred)

Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community

Must be detailed oriented with a high sense of urgency with a proven track record of growing markets

Must have a strong sense of compassion and empathy

Must be comfortable making cold calls as well as structured sales calls

Exceptional and consistent customer service skills

Brings strong referral sources for the assigned territory is a plus

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of the organization
