Job Summary At the direction of the Manager, Broker Asset Management, supports critical sales activities to help Broker Sales teams achieve quarterly and annual growth targets. Drives development and execution of activities in partnership with key teams in the organization to identify opportunities for sales growth in both new and existing broker accounts for the Broker Sales team. Serves as a liaison for Broker Sales Leadership to key business units within Aflac US Operations. Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Helps drive the delivery of key files for production at quarter-end and year-end, in support of driving new sales through new and existing accounts. Follows up with Broker Sales team members and coordinates delivery of key files as needed in support helping Broker Sales achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Provides support in developing and executing growth initiatives related to the existing book of business for the Broker channel. Proactively identifies opportunities within brokers' books of business for short term and long-term potential and completes requests related to these efforts.
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with key business partners across the US Operations organization, to include, but not limited to US Sales Analytics, US FP&A, US Sales Operations. Partners with those areas to monitor leading and lagging indicators and advises Broker Sales Leadership teams on pertinent information and trends.
  • Partners with Broker Sales RVPs and Sales Managers to develop Regional Broker Bonus programs. Supports the administration of the programs by collaborating with and serving as a liaison to Aflac Trust, FP&A and Sales Compensation teams.
  • Analyzes data and proactively identifies trends within the broker channel and provides relevant and meaningful insight to Broker Sales leaders.
  • Provides general support to the Manager, Broker Asset Management in working with Broker Sales leaders to prioritize expenses for the Broker Channel based on guidance and analysis, data and information provided by US FP&A that support investing in efforts that generate the greatest return.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. Education & Experience Required
    • Bachelors Degree Business Administration or related field
    • six years of professional job-related work experience
    • Minimum of three years Broker Sales experience
    Or an equivalent combination of education and experience Job Knowledge & Skills
  • Possesses high level of knowledge of Aflac products, policy data, broker data, benefit plans and distribution channels
  • Possesses knowledge of Aflac Group/Broker data
  • Ability to communicate sales and financial data
  • Intermediate experience with Tableau
  • Strong Project Planning Skills
  • Experience with managing a book of business
  • Ability to collaborate with Sales Teams (Broker and Career) Competencies
