As a participant in our network management team, you'll guide the development and support the Government Programs team. Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day management of Government Program ACO activities, including project management, problem resolution and other activities to assist in the facilitation of a successful relationship with assigned providers
• Work effectively across lines of business and across the organization including interactions with HCE, LOB Leaders, UCS and UHN, National Partners
• Predict emerging customer needs and develop innovative solutions to meet them.
• Have confidence in leading groups and handling difficult decisions and making decisions with Senior Leadership from ACO and Health Systems to drive issues to closure and act as subject matter expert cross line of business and cross value-based programs
• Support the broader MBO initiatives of the organization to achieve state requirements, financial, affordability, and quality goals related to ACO contracting and unique value based initiatives (including new programs)
• Support roster management including management of individual contractual triggers/conditions that may affect the relationship
• Ensure timeliness of data updates and data integrity for multiple ACOs

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in a network management-related role, such as contracting or provider services
• 3+ years of experience being in an external facing role, representing your organization with clients, vendors and/or government officials
• 3+ years of experience managing complex meetings and/or projects
• 2+ years of experience using financial models and analysis to negotiate rates with providers
• Superior writing skills and ability to convey complex matters in a streamlined manner to a variety of management levels
• Able and willing to travel up to 25% (none to minimal during Covid)
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination prior to employment to ensure compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of Medicare Resource Based Relative Value System (RBRVS)
• Advanced competency of excel, including pivot tables
• Advanced competency of other Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and SharePoint

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $71,400 to $127,400. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
