Job description
SrConsult,Enterprise Architect Job Summary Provides overall direction, guidance and definition of an enterprise architecture that effectively supports the corporate business and IT strategies; researches, analyzes, designs, proposes, and prototypes solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies; these IT solutions may include systems, applications, or processes, and may involve the application and integration of a wide variety of products, technologies and services Additional responsibilities include establishing the overall architectural view, identifying major system interfaces, developing module reuse on an enterprise wide scale, building e-business capabilities, and identifying existing architecture weaknesses and opportunities for process reengineering; these professionals performs systems analysis and design, system modeling, performance modeling, integration planning, and technology and component selection to ensure architectural consistency and coherence between technical and business processes. Principal Duties & Responsibilities Leads rationalization and optimization of application and technologies across multiple business Domains Leads or oversees multiple IT projects; works on highly complex projects that require in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments; provides an organization wide perspective Leads multiple project teams, reviewing existing business processes and establishing metrics to improve business processes; supports all architectural disciplines under his/her direction; is a champion and/or subject matter expert for architectural initiatives Leads the technical and business discussions relative to future enterprise direction; aligns architectural strategy with business goals Provides leadership and technology guidance; mentors other architects throughout the organization Leads teams in the research and evaluation of software/hardware products and industry trends to assist in project development and operational support activities Analyzes the current enterprise architecture to identify weaknesses and to develop opportunities for improvements such as expanding capacity, reducing time and cost, and increasing effectiveness Designs, develops, and communicates architectural policies, principles and standards for the Enterprise Manages the design of enterprise architectural requirements; provides architectural oversight to requirements effort and framework strategies Approves enterprise LAN/WAN designs and architectures by reviewing end-user, topology, physical, security, performance, and interoperability requirements Recommends allocation of budget to meet business initiatives; advises business leaders on options, risk, cost vs. benefits, and impacts on other processes and system priorities for buy vs. build decisions Consults on the use of middleware to facilitate the portability and scalability of applications Manages the integration of complex third party and internally developed components to achieve operability Develops and presents white papers on current and future architecture trends and their impact on the organization Performs other related duties as required Professional - Education & Experience Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Development or related field, eight to ten years of experience in multiple IT areas with at least 4 of the 8-10 in Architecture, advanced or expert knowledge and understanding of multiple IT areas (networking, software, data, security, Internet, operations), or architecture and core business functions. Advanced skills in enterprise architecture, demonstrated experience in building and implementing model-driven, object, oriented enterprise-level business solutions and applications using Pega PRPC platform, experience designing and developing process-based solutions or BPM (business process management), experience in various rules and features like Flows, Activities, User Interface, Flow Actions, Agents, SLA, Correspondence, Single-Sign-On, External Authentication, PRPC Security, Reports, Listeners, Connectors and Web/Micros Services etc, Experience in full PRPC implementation cycle including enterprise Class Structure design and Rulesets, Branching design, Or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Masters Degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Development or related field (Preferred) Certification Lead Pega Systems Architect (CSLA) or Pega Senior Systems Architect (CSSA) (Preferred) Job Knowledge & Skills
