What You'll Be Doing- Overall Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening and recommending candidates for CBORD / Horizon positions as well as onboarding new hires. This person must demonstrate the DREAMteam model. He or she will identify opportunities to build applicant pools, establish trust and partnerships with the managers, identify potential "fit" through effective interviewing and effectively administer the interviewing and onboarding process, and ensure a positive new hire experience. Integrity, a positive attitude, creativity, and collaboration will be key to your success in this role.
What You'll Be Doing
- Work closely with hiring managers to determine recruitment needs and develop a hiring strategy for each role
- Assist with sourcing and pre-screening top-quality candidates from ATS, LinkedIn, Indeed and job boards
- Thoroughly review a high volume of resumes daily to identify and refine the best talent from available candidates
- Work with TA team planning interview/selection procedures (e.g. in-person interviews, screening calls and assessments
- Research and participate in the most relevant career fairs, local job fairs and professional events to support CBORD / Horizon
- Update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), coordinate background verifications aligned with company processes and manage all follow-up communications
- Aid in building pipelines of high-potential candidates for future opportunities
- Participate in TA and HR weekly standup meetings
- Asist the TA / HR team identify new opportunities for key process improvement initiatives that help improve the recruiting strategy and HR strategies
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft office suite; Word / Excel / Outlook
- Proven track record of sourcing and landing top talent
- Extreme attention to detail and able to manage time effectively
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- An upbeat positive attitude
- Strategic, dynamic, enthusiastic, and quick to take initiative
