Overview

Canon Financial Services, Inc. (CFS) located in Norcross, GA is currently seeking a Senior Relations Management Specialist (Sr Specialist, Rel Mgnt). Responsible for managing customer relations within midwest region by partnering with CSA ESS and Global sales channels to provide market assistance and market oriented leasing programs and services that increases customer satisfaction, customer retention, and sales of Canon products.

Responsibilities

- Develop familiarity with the larger Branch/end user-customer relationships within assigned Channels and territory
- Develop productive relationships with CSA sales and sales management counterparts within the assigned Sales Channel and Territory
- Work with Channel counterparts to suggest to CFS Management and assist in developing sales financing programs and solutions and monitor metrics for Branch/customer satisfaction and program effectiveness
- Act as the CFS liaison and knowledge source for CSA associates in the assigned sales channels market & sales financing needs in order to facilitate and grow business volume
- Facilitate process improvement between CFS and CSA and work with channel counterparts to create efficiencies between organizations
- Develop and present relevant trainings, as required
- Provide creative solutions to move Direct Channel business forward when applicable
- Communicates and collaborates with Credit, Collections and CSA Sales on resolving pended credit applications and delinquent accounts
- Partners with Documentation Administrators/Bid Group to support terms and conditions modifications
- Collaborates with Documentation Team to research issues and to facilitate resolutions on pended Purchase Orders
- Assists with Documentation follow up activities, i.e. Follow up on outstanding/aged POs to obtain status updates on invoices for booking
- Meets individual goals consistent with position level requirements
- Pro-actively completes the responsibilities of the position while meeting performance standards with minimal supervision
- Plan, organize and execute projects as approved and as assigned according to established parameters and milestones
- Manage conflict and build trust with the assigned sales channel
- Leverage relationship, sales and marketing knowledge and skills to increase application and booking volume in the assigned CSA ESS and Global Channels
- Maintain flexibility and effectively communicate changing conditions within CFS to Sales Channel Partners
- Travel up to 25% as required

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 7 plus years of experience in sales, preferably leasing industry
- Energetic, team player with positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Strong desire to pursue a career in the financial services industry
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with accuracy
- Exceptional ability to navigate and maintain organization of multiple tasks with accuracy in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Intermediate knowledge level of Excel and Microsoft Office products
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on rapport/relationship building, listening, and follow up skills
- Exhibits outstanding written and verbal communication skills and takes initiative to disseminate key departmental information
- Strong analytical, problem solving, qualitative, and quantitative skills required
- Excellent presentation skills
- May require considerable travel throughout sales territory (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary). Additionally, because this position requires driving for company business as an essential function of the job, must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies
- Successful candidate must be based in the Southeast region of the United States
