Job Summary:
The Assistant Recruiter assists the recruiters and the branch managers. The Assistant Recruiter's purpose is to assist the Recruiter with applicant sourcing, vetting, and ensuring that all documentation has been completed for each applicant. This is an entry level position with options to move up in the company.

Preferred Qualifications:
● Knowledge of staffing or have a Human Resource background.
● Knowledge of TempWorks.
● 1-2 years of administrative experience.

● High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities:
● Make 20 Recruiting Calls Daily utilizing our TempWorks database and all of our job boards (Currently Indeed, Zip Recruiter, Career Builder and Facebook).
● Call all new applicants from TempWorks and any job postings daily.
● Call Candidates list that Recruiter(s) provide.
● Must have strong communication skills and professional savvy with emails, texts, letters and resumes.
● Act as a liaison between recruiter and candidate to schedule interviews and follow-up phone calls. Answer phones and screen calls for recruiters.
● Schedule interviews based on Recruiter's schedule.
● Confirm scheduled interviews the day before/day of.
● Administer drug test, complete i9, process, eVerify, check employment history for gaps, check applicant references, and run background checks.
● All applicants should be 100% ready for an interview when they meet with the Recruiter.
● Promptly reply to all voicemails, job board messages, social media inquiries, and ZipWhip texts.
● Have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office as well as usage of office equipment for scanning and uploading documents.
● Call back all candidates that were not spoken to. (1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 2 months etc.)
● Monitor time clocks and correct missing or duplicate punches. Report absences or irregularities to salesperson and recruiter.
● Assist with scheduling and posting on Social Media with awareness and details to design, timing & relevancy.
● Place ads (ZipRecruiter, Indeed, etc.) when directed by a recruiter. Reach out to candidates and encourage them to apply on our website.
● Must be proactive and have strong listening skills.
● Must be able to multitask and be self-starter.
● Other administrative duties as needed.
