YARD DRIVER

**MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE*** Primary duties will consist of the timely and efficient movement of trailers upon request of appliance, shipping, receiving, and visitor center following all rules concerning pulling, placement and securing of trailers. SAFETY will guide our operation.

Industry: Manufacturing.

Duties: Must be comfortable with backing and maneuvering trailers ranging in size from 28 to 53 Ability to work in high traffic/limited space environment, good communication skills, must be able to interact effectively with Visitor Center personnel, other drivers on the yard, appliance, receiving and shipping coaches and teammates. Driver will become familiar with computerized yard management system. Must be detail-oriented, accurate, and safety conscience. Ability to operate in all types of conditions and weather is important. Ideal candidate will be flexible and willing to work in other areas of the building or on special projects during low volume times. Prior yard truck experience is preferred.

Job Types: Distribution, Equipment Operator.

Shifts: 2nd Shift.

Attributes: Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old.

Starting Wage: $13.50.

Pay Rate: 13.50 AN HOUR.

Required Skills:

Drivers will be held responsible for their equipment including fueling, timely reporting of mechanical problems and maintaining the cleanliness of their truck. Drivers will be asked to pick up trash in the lot during low volume periods and perform other duties consistent with the efficient operation of the DC. Drivers will cross train and support the visitor center personnel. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Ability to safely operate yard tractor is required (training provided.)
