Description Robert Half is actively looking for an accomplished Senior Accountant for a long-term contract / temporary opportunity. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Responsibilities

- Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

- Implement monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

- Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations

- Realize compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners

- Organize quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

- Ad-hoc projects as required

- Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

- Be a part of various initiatives spanning multiple departments

- Review financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics) Requirements - Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience

- Sharp, analytical thinking abilities, always seeking to draw connections and identify the "why"

- Experience in SOX control execution/documentation

- Vow to meet business deadlines

- Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems

- If you can demonstrate proficiency in financial reporting systems, you might be the right person for this position

- Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

- Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

- Knowledgeable of ERP systems

- Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP)

- Comprehensive knowledge of account reconciliation

- Accounts Receivable (AR) experience

- Proficient at analyzing financial data and promptly creating accurate reports

- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desired

- Demonstrated skills in interacting effectively, both verbally and in writing, with functional managers

- Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
