We are currently planning on expanding outside of Hawaii and our objective is to build a vacation rental brand that can scale at the national level without giving up the unique and hyper-local guest experience that ultimately makes vacation rentals so desirable, and that effectively differentiates us from hotels.


POSITION

Hawaii Market Manager


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Hawaii General Manager for Elite Pacific, you will hold the ultimate responsibility for the organization's financial success and growth in Hawaii. You will lead all business development activities and collaborate with our central teams as the Hawaii subject matter expert. You will continue to build upon Elite Pacific's already strong footprint on the Hawaiian Islands by fostering long-standing relationships with Real Estate Brokers and agents, as well as developers and other key stakeholders in the market. Our sales force consists of a dynamic team of professional and licensed Property Managers and you will be in charge of growing this team, and developing a recruiting strategy as well as leading all recruiting efforts. You will be tasked with developing a successful owner acquisition strategy and coaching our Property Managers on best practices for generating and converting new supply leads. You will help develop localized processes by collaborating with the central Marketing and Operations teams, ensuring long-term market success.


REQUIREMENTS


Think you have what it takes? Here is what you will need to deliver:


  • Develop and deploy Hawaii market growth strategy, activities, budget and processes to drive revenue and meet new property acquisition goals
  • Develop and deploy a Property Manager recruitment strategy and effectively grow the Property Management team
  • Manage existing property manager relationships and create a property manager engagement strategy that will maximize property manager retention
  • Coach Property Management team on best practices for lead generation and lead conversion
  • Collaborate with the Property Management team on creative deal structures and out-of-the-box ideas on how to grow the portfolio
  • Build a strong referral network by attending local events and fostering relationships with key industry stakeholders, including Real Estate Brokers, Real Estate Agents, Developers, Concierge Companies, Architects, etc
  • Manage existing partner relationships and maximize partner satisfaction and success
  • Create and manage lead distribution processes through a CRM (e.g. Hubspot CRM or similar)
  • Collaborate with our central marketing department on Hawaii-specific content creation for property managers, broker partners, owners, guests and tenants
  • Become the local expert for the rest of the business on details related to the Hawaii market, including on matters related to advocacy, and collaborate with all other central teams to meet immediate needs and ensure long term success


Who you are and what you've accomplished:


  • You have at least 5 years of recent experience in sales, business development, and partnership management. Vacation rental, Real Estate, and/or Travel/Tourism industry experience is a plus
  • You are a self-starter, have strong leadership, negotiating, and influencing skills, and have been managing success through a team for at least 2 years
  • You are outgoing, charismatic, and love people and relationships
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are able to balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives
  • You have outstanding communication skills and are able to articulate a vision, strategy, ideas and decisions clearly and succinctly
  • You have a deep understanding of sales funnel management and through thorough analysis know what levers to pull in order to create opportunities and maximize conversions on all channels
  • You are an experienced CRM user (HubSpot CRM or other)
  • You know how to build a business plan and are familiar with sales modalities such as Ninja Selling
  • You possess deep local knowledge and an extensive network in Hawaii
