Job description

The HR Coordinator provides support to the HR department with meetings management, mail management and filing, and other special projects as assigned by the HR Manager. The HR Coordinator is responsible for making recommendations on improving HR policies, processes, practices and other changes to the HR Department. The HR Coordinator ensures an efficient workflow within the HR department and acts as a liaison between the HR Manager and other employees regarding any questions and/or concerns.
**$300.00 SIGN-ON BONUS AFTER 90 DAY PROBATIONARY PERIOD**

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and compliance processes.
  • Maintain both hard and digital copies of employees' records.
  • Perform New hire orientations and their on-boarding paperwork, Terminations and updates for employee records.
  • Schedule meetings, HR events and maintain agendas.
  • Assist with payroll.
  • Assign employee access cards, inventory, ordering and distribution.
  • Coordinate with the HR Generalist and the HR Manager for the distribution of Employee Awards and compliance posters.
  • Assist with the Benefit enrollment process and helps educate the employees.
  • Manage and distribute incoming and outgoing mail for the HR department.
  • Maintain and order supplies including but not limited to HR forms, brochures, posters, handbooks etc.
  • Perform routine audits to ensure data accuracy.
  • Coordinate and assist with employee training and training assessments.
  • Support the HR department with the performance review process.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the HR Manager.
Skills & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED with at least two years of work experience in the Human Resources department or a related field; or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Intermediate computer skills and Microsoft Office experience including Word, Excel.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance with state/federal/local laws is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Relationship management.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment.
