Job description

Afni is hiring a Human Resources Coordinator who serves as an employee champion and provides guidance regarding HR policy and administration, employee relations, and performance management. The incumbent maintains employee records and monitors employee relations procedures. The HR Coordinator also may provide business partner support for actioning plan, focus groups and process review.

What you will be doing:

  • Monitor and maintain HRIS records including processing for new hires, separations and status changes. Conduct new hire orientations, employee focus groups & feedback sessions and exit interviews. Create and audit employee relations policy and procedure.
  • Partner with operations to administer performance management at agent and first line leader levels. Includes process and document review and data analysis to ensure consistency.
  • Support business initiatives via engaged employees. Initiate and/or monitor survey action plans to increase engagement, productivity, & retention while improving customer service.
  • Work closely with 1st line management and agents to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Maintain and coordinate employee recognition programs.
  • Engage with HR team members to conduct investigations and respond to employee relations issues, including employee complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints. Additionally, may conduct and document employee investigations including next steps and recommended actions.
  • Facilitate the internal requisition process for non-agent positions. Provides periodic support to Talent Acquisition during critical needs hiring.


Job Requirements:

What you will need:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience. Bachelor's degree with emphasis in human resources studies preferred.
  • One to three years of human resources or other relevant experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office 365. HRIS and corresponding applicant tracking system experience a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Tailors communication to audience needs.
  • Ability to self-direct and handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to pay attention to detail.
  • Keeps business partners informed of status and progress.
  • Seeks collaborative solutions to address organizational needs.
