Job description

I'm recruiting for a Privately Held Software Company for a Regional Account to hunt new business in the greater Chicago Area. Compensation is $80-$100k Base Salary, $180k-$200k OTE. My client has over 1700 customers across the globe, and has been in business for nearly 20 years, their product competes in the Software Lifecycle Automation market, candidates with Patch Management-Application Performance Management-Client Management Tools- and similar products are highly encouraged to apply. This position focuses on Mid-Market Accounts, candidates must be Hunters to build account base.
Looking for candidates with 3-7 yrs software, preferably in software tools- software automation or similar.

  • Develop a pipeline of opportunities and manage the sales process from first contact through contract execution
  • Identify and qualify opportunities in your market
  • Perform pro-active outreach, following up on inbound inquiries, and serving as primary point of contact with potential customers throughout the sales cycle
  • Assess each potential customer's needs and goals, demonstrating our software, and communicating a clear value proposition
  • Prepare compelling proposals and finalizing new contracts
  • Occasional travel to industry conferences and in-person meetings
