Priority1, Inc., a dynamic nationwide company, is now seeking college graduates for business to-business product/service sales in our Chicago, IL office. We are looking for enthusiastic, confident hardworking candidates who want to have a career in sales! Priority1 is a premier consulting and contract logistics company, specializing in LTL, Truckload, Air Freight, and Warehouse services. We are growing at a rapid pace and we are looking to add new Inside Sales Reps to our Chicago office.

As an Inside Sales Rep, you will represent Priority1 Inc and promote our services to new customers, build and maintain your own book of business and provide an exceptional level of customer services. Inside Sales Rep tracks sales opportunities and develops a pipeline of potential customers through strategic relationships. You will be the owner of your own book of business working in a fast paced team environment. In a $700+ Billion industry your prospective client base is unlimited. As Inside Sales Reps gain industry knowledge and grow their personal books of business, they will become eligible for promotion into an OUTSIDE SALES position - Territory Manager. The typical time to develop skills necessary to manage and build a book of business varies depending on the success in the inside sales role and metrics. Responsibilities


  • Prospecting and developing new business
  • Develop lead generation and utilize CRM to track activity
  • Selling and setting up new accounts
  • Trains customers on use and advantages of web-based shipping and technology
  • Maintaining and growing customer relationships

Training and Development

At Priority1, we believe supporting our Inside Sales Reps (ISRs) through best-in-class training and development. New hires can expect three weeks of training inside of their first 6 months, with the potential for additional trainings and management trainings further into their career. All trainings take place in Chicago, IL and are led by Regional Sales Manager(s) and the Director of Sales, who themselves started in sales. New Inside Sales Reps will learn the ins and outs of the freight industry while developing and honing their sales techniques and skills.

Qualifications And Skills


  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 0-2 year's sales or similar experience preferred
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Polished and professional appearance and demeanor
  • Problem solver with ability to identify issues and provide solutions
  • Determined to be part of a winning team
  • Strategic relationship builder with focus on customer pipeline and key decision

Compensation


  • Base Salary of $45K + Uncapped Commission
  • 100% Paid Family Medical Benefits
