Summary

Market Rebellion is looking for an Accounting Analyst to join our growing Finance team. You will work closely with the Director of Finance to manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, reconciliations and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate must possess strong organizational skills and demonstrate the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders. This person must be technical in Excel with strong attention to detail. They have a strong willingness to learn, and active progress towards the CPA certification is positively viewed.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage expense reimbursements, purchase orders and accounts payable processes.
• Prepare and review month-end sales commission and revenue sharing calculations.
• Assist with the preparation of month-end financial statements, reconciliations, and cash flow forecast.
• Provide support in vendor contract review, 1099 preparation and PBC list for tax returns.
• Perform analysis by extracting data from various sources such as Ecommerce database, CRM and merchant payment processors.
• Ad hoc reporting, analysis and requirement gathering for Sales and Marketing teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business equivalent required.
• 1-3 years related experience in a fast-paced environment
• Intermediate to Advance in Excel required
• Working knowledge of MS Access and QuickBooks
• Familiarity with CRM systems and practices (Salesforce and/or HubSpot)
• Ability to manage large and complex data sets
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Progress towards CPA certification preferred
