Job description

We are looking for Accounting Managers to join our rapidly growing DLC office in Chicago. Individuals with a track record of working diligently under tight deadlines, preparing month end close, consolidating financial reporting and enjoy streamlining processes are ideal for this role.


Responsibilities:


• Manage month end close activities, journal entries, reconciliations, roll forwards, cash forecasting, fixed asset analysis.

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statement reporting, consolidations and analysis.

• Compile quarterly financial presentations for Executive teams.

• Oversight of all AP and AR including cash flow forecasting.

• Prepare documents and schedules for auditors.

• Perform ad-hoc analysis to assist in critical business decision support as requested.

• Complete monthly balance sheet account reconciliations

• Calculate, process, and review intercompany accruals and adjustments to ensure all transactions are recorded with proper affiliate and account coding to eliminate intercompany out of balances.

• Intercompany reconciliation and analysis of material variances.

• Update procedures and documentation as needed.

• Experience drafting SEC Forms such as 10-K, 10-Q, S-1, S-3, S-4

• Provide insight and implement areas for process improvement. Examples such as improving analysis of expenses, forecasting, and better views of profitability down to customer level and segment level data.


Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or MBA required

• 8+ years hands on accounting experience and preferably managed teams

• Strong GAAP experience

• Intense attention to detail, organized, professional work ethic and highly motivated

• Ability to clearly communicate results and action steps to Senior leadership teams,

• Trained to work in fast paced environments and independently, not afraid to jump in

• Large ERP experience and advanced excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, intermediate functions)
