Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job description

Kelly Services is seeking a **Accounts Receivable Specialist** in Chicago.

This position will be **100% remote** but must be able to visit the office occasionally, if necessary.

The position is **direct hire** & full-time

**Salary** : $35K-$45K

**Schedule:**

+ Monday-Friday

+ 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (1/2 Hour Lunch)

**Requirements Required:**

+ Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel

+ 3+ years of experience

+ Attention to detail, self-motivation, and excellent time management

+ Communication skills are required for this deadline oriented position

**Job Description:**

+ Accounts receivable cash application and month end reconciliation

+ Monthly close

+ Account analyses

+ Journal entry creation and posting

+ Balance sheet account reconciliations

+ Main focus areas will include cash, prepaids and accruals

+ Compilation of data and filing of sales & use tax returns

+ Detailed review of sales and purchase activity against source documents

+ Other accounting and finance activities as deemed necessary, which may include, but are not limited to:

+ Assisting with the budget process;

+ Assisting with audits and bank exams;

+ Preparation of internal and bank reporting deliverables;

+ Other ad hoc requests
