Acquisition & Development Analyst

Job description

The Acquisition & Development Analyst is a key participant in the Silver Birch acquisition efforts by conducting initial screenings, preparing and updating financial models, preparing recommendations, managing procurement and review of due diligence information, cultivating relationships with brokers, and preparing investor reports.

• Conducts initial screening on acquisition opportunities
• Prepares and updates financial models for ground-up developments and acquisitions
• Formulating and communicating recommendations to investment committee on potential acquisitions or ground-up developments
• Manages procurement and review of due diligence reports
• Develops systems for implementation of follow-up items and risk mitigants
• Develops and manages deliverables to capital sources
• Identifies and cultivates relationships with key investment sales brokers
• Prepares periodic investor reports
• Provides analytical and other support for Silver Birch growth initiatives

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field AND
• Two (2) or more years of experience with a healthcare real estate investment trust, healthcare-related private equity real estate fund, seniors housing management company, or similar enterprise

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external contacts
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong experience successfully managing project through multiple stages timely and accurately
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and web proficiency

Position is currently remote/work from home and will transition to be based in our office in Downtown Chicago.
