Job description

The Acquisitions Associate will provide critical analytical support to Green Courte's acquisition activities and will be an integral member of the firm's transaction team. Key responsibilities include:


  • Sourcing and screening prospective acquisition markets and assets based on Green Courte's investment criteria
  • Performing market research and developing market analysis summaries for potential acquisitions opportunities
  • Developing financial models and performing detailed financial analysis of acquisition targets, including analysis of historical financial statements and preparation of cash flow projections, to assess investor risk and return
  • Preparing comprehensive investment memoranda supporting the acquisitions team's investment recommendations to the firm's investment committee
  • Supporting acquisition due diligence and closing process
  • Performing analysis to support on-going asset management activities, such as repositioning, refinancing, and disposition
  • Participating in various forms of investor correspondence


Experience and Qualifications:

  • BS in real estate, finance, or accounting required
  • 0-3 years of experience as a financial analyst for a real estate investment firm, investment bank, or other similar professional exposure
  • Proficient in financial modeling tools, including excellent Excel skills
  • Exceptional analytical skills and written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage and distill insightful conclusions from large volumes of data
  • Ability to be organized and detail-oriented and to work efficiently and accurately under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
