Job description

Administers operation of the dance studio and entertainment at Latin Street Music & Dance. Coordinates closely with faculty and other staff on all administrative activities of the studio. This includes assisting a new student inquiry, class registration, maintenance, and overall dance studio management.


Schedule: daytime on weekends & 8-10hrs on weekdays

Tuesdays & Thursdays : 2p-10p

Saturdays: 9a-5p

Sundays: 9a-6p


33 hrs per week minimum. Full time status

$12 per hr to start. $20.5k /yr base.

3 month performance review: $13.00 per hour. ($22.3k/yr base)

6 months performance review: $14.00 per hour ($24k/yr base)

9 month performance review: $15.00 per hour. ($25.7k/yr base)


Additional hours are available by working event staff hours & increasing weekly base hours.

Further opportunities available in event managament & event production.


Several hours of training for Mindbodyonline software are required prior to starting in the position.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a full 2-year college or 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree in a major such as business or related; OR appropriate combination of education and experience.
  • 1-year administrative experience including budgets, finance, grants, facilities, &/or human resources; or other relevant experience.

  • Excellent skills in all areas of business management in including budgeting and reporting
  • Good interpersonal and managerial skills, nimble problem-solving abilities
  • Good strategic planning, time management, and executive management skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with sponsoring agencies, University officials in many different capacities, and a wide range of faculty members with competing needs
  • Ability to effectively and consistently perform accounting duties with accuracy
  • Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding environment
  • Ability to work well with varied departments, faculty, staff, and students
  • Demonstrated high levels of verbal and written communication skills, and computing skills
  • Previous experience in budget management and forecasting
  • Working knowledge of MS Word including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneDrive

Positive and outgoing personality

Passion in Latin Dance
