Description:

The Business Analyst - Product Owner or Business Analyst - Scrum Master are highly motivated individual with strong technical and communication skills who leverages data to create impactful analysis and reporting to help inform strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively across a diverse team to gather business requirements and conduct process mapping to facilitate the documentation and automation of product and system requirements. This is a dynamic role in a growth organization with direct exposure to corporate strategy and will work closely with Business, UX, Development, QA and Off-Shore resources as a thought partner daily.

Responsibilities:

• Product Owner emphasizes the big picture of the product and release vision to communicate updates to stakeholders
• Scrum Master is responsible for Sprint Planning, Grooming, Daily Stand ups, Demos, Reviews, Retrospectives
• Both members work as a team to:
• Understand current business processes and helps define, communicate & leads future business processes
• Work with multiple simultaneous projects by identifying requirements, facilitating change management, impact analysis, supporting execution team
• Engage stakeholders, facilitate workshops, conduct client interviews to define business goals and elicit business requirements
• Prioritize requirements collaboratively with business stakeholders, DevOps and technology disciplines
• Define and document business requirements, functional requirements and process flows/ modelling
• Determine documentation needs based on the project requirements and manage the documentation efforts for a CI/CD platform

• Collaborate with DevOps, Engineering & Test teams for sprints
• Provide requirement inputs during technical design sessions, review design deliverables for consistency and as a source of requirements
• Ensure that project team has clear understanding of functional requirements and business expectations
• Work with QA teams to develop testing strategy, test plan, identify test cases and participate in UAT
• Create product documentation and training material including user manuals is possible
• Conduct training session for a product or an implementation

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required (Business or Digital Marketing) Master's degree (preferred)
• Experience working in the digital agency or consulting firm space
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as Business Analyst, Functional Analyst or Proxy Product Owner
• An agile BA with strategic, functional, technical and relationship focus
• Project Management / Scrum skills or certification highly desired for Scrum Master role
• Experience working with cross functional teams in transition projects with competitor vendors
• Ability in working with both onsite and offshore teams in distributed agile
• Familiar with use of collaborative tools preferably confluence
• Can work with multiple integration points for a technology stack:
  • Heath Care or Insurance Sector experience
  • DevOps, Engineering, Testing project experience
  • CI/CD project experience
• Great communication and interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
• Good research, product demo and presentation skills
