Your Challenge::
The purpose of this position is to support Media business development opportunities through the execution of strategies and tactics required to achieve business development goals. The Account Executive will successfully contribute to pipeline and revenue growth by supporting the generation, and management, of qualified leads. Whether it is through conducting market research, developing business strategies, building client relationships, or identifying new business opportunities, you're committed to caring for the overall team and business objectives. This position will prospect new and existing businesses and support the financial goals of the Media Sales team.

Essential Functions:

Act as a sales liaison for current and prospective clients; manage Salesforce Opportunities and closed business for Media products, Digital, and F2F Events sales.

Provide sales support to the Media team by understanding product dynamics, market trends, competitor features, and consumer rationale and make recommendations to help achieve revenue goals.

Conduct industry, company, and individual prospect market research to identify potential clients.

Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, playbooks, reference materials, and other documents as required.

Identify and develop new client relationships within our target markets through numerous channels, including cold calling, direct marketing, attending conferences, and visiting prospective clients and industry partners.

Track all Activities within (url removed) and participate in comprehensive HIMSS Salesforce training and data management.

Review and analyze pipeline reports and qualitative feedback; provide insights to help drive business.

Analyze and interpret email campaign open rates and provide lead generation and follow-up to the business development/sales team.

What you will need to be successful::
Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, in sales related field.

A minimum of five (5) years of related work experience; experience in sales support with experience using/supporting (url removed) preferred.

Ability to connect and manage disparate ideas across a complex business environment and see how the pieces fit together

Entrepreneurial self-starter who takes the initiative to develop his or her own skill set and generate ideas to continuously improve client results

Ability to think critically and communicate with co-workers at various levels within the organization.

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.

Customer focused with assertive, self-confident personality.

Superior planning skills, both strategic and tactical

Ability to build collaborative relationships internally and with prospects/clients.

Strong organization, project management and customer service skills.

Experienced in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
