Where We Need You:

The Chicago office is seeking a Business Intelligence Senior Consultant to join our growing team.

What You Can Expect:

The Senior Consultant coaches Interns, Consultants, and facilitates the successful completion of project work plans. Serving as both role model and trainer, the Senior Consultant demonstrates the attributes of excellent client service and assists team members in developing technical and professional competency. The Senior Consultant learns to identify areas of risk and opportunities to improve efficiencies. Relationships with client personnel and professional associates strengthen as the ability to communicate, gain trust and network improves. At the direction of managers, the Senior Consultant may accept responsibility for decision-making, ranging from staffing and preparation of deliverables to application of methodologies.

Do Your Talents Include the Following?

• Good understanding of the end to end Power BI suite of tools, i.e., Power BI desktop, Power BI Report Server, Power Services, Power BI Embedded, and Power BI Mobile
• Experience with implementation of various Power BI architectures, i.e., Import, Direct Query, Live Connections, and Composite Models
• Experience with Power BI Data Flows, CDM on Azure Data Lake Store, Auto ML, and integration with Azure Machine Learning
• Good Understanding of Azure Data Services and alignment with Power BI capabilities;

• Experience with different deployment and governance approaches for enterprise implementation of Power BI Solution
• Best practices to develop visualizations on Power BI desktop to ensure optimal performance, security, and governance
• Best practices around management of Power BI workspaces, visuals, apps, security, and auditing
• An ability to analyze data and determine/implement data enrichment or aggregation techniques

Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 5+ years in a related field; preferably in professional services and/or industry

We travel throughout the month frequently based upon client requests/commitments. Travel may include suburban, regional, or out-of-state locations.
