Path Construction Company, Inc. is a mid-size, growing General Contractor, located in Arlington Heights, IL looking for a qualified Chief Estimator. Path is seeking an individual with Heavy Highway Experience including Excavation, Steel, Structural Concrete, Concrete Site Work, Concrete Repairs, Road and Bridge Construction.

Path is looking for people with great technical skills, good communication skills, and strong attention to detail. Hard work and self-motivation is critical, as we want to continue to strive for success. Duties for a Chief Estimator include: estimating, business development, quantity take-offs, contracts, preparing and managing bid packages, procurement, change orders, cost control, scheduling, subcontractor relations, P&L, maintaining and delivering a high level of quality.

Locations of most current projects lie within a 40 mile radius Chicago, Illinois and there are also projects in Champaign, Illinois.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or Architecture
• 5+ years experience is required.
• Public work experience is required.
• Department of Transportation - DOT work experience is a plus.
• Estimating experience is required.
• Self Perform experience is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
