Grubhub is looking for a Chicago-based coordinator to join its corporate communications team. This person will help guard and build Grubhub's reputation by developing communications programming and materials for external and internal audiences. Additionally, this individual will assist in media relations and monitoring sentiment and the perception of Grubhub across channels, including media coverage, social networks and other forums. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, resourceful, determined and entrepreneurial. He or she should be able to convey complex topics in an easy to understand way and maintain a close eye for detail. This person will work closely with the rest of the public relations, corporate communications and government relations team to support higher-level corporate narratives and ensure consistent messaging in materials across the business. Strong writing skills are a must, as well as the ability to keep up with a fast-paced environment. The Impact You Will Make Develop and update public-facing materials that support Grubhub's communications priorities, including fact sheets, corporate newsroom content and company talking points Help track and manage reactive and proactive media opportunities for Grubhub and check for factual representation of the business in coverage Assist in speaker prep, event logistics and award submissions to build company and executive visibility Work cross-functionally to review external materials produced by partners about Grubhub Aid in daily news collection and summarization for internal audiences Coordinate work and maintain budgets across multiple vendors What You Bring to the Table Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism or a related field 1-2 years of internships in public relations, media or journalism Attention to detail and strong writing skills Exceptional judgement and comfort navigating ambiguity Collaborative mindset and experience supporting a team Interest in measurement tools and analytics for public relations and corporate reputation Got These?
