About the Team
- In 2013, DoorDash launched and offered one service: delivery. Today, we offer 10+ products to half a million restaurants -- and that number is growing. The Go-to-Market (GTM) team is responsible for launching & scaling successful products for our restaurant partners.
- Our goal is to build and scale products that help our merchants grow and operate their businesses profitability with DoorDash.
- We're responsible for coordinating (& executing!) Go-to-Market activities across a variety of functional groups to achieve our goals.
- We're looking for a Director of Ads Go-to-Market Strategy to manage, launch, and scale our growing suite of Advertising products.
- You will partner closely with the Product, Engineering, Sales, Analytics, Marketing and Research teams to establish GTM strategy for our in-app Advertising programs that restaurants can adopt.
- You will recruit and build a team of operators that strategize, coordinate, and drive execution against our Advertising goals.
- You will help build and grow one of the largest and most innovative Advertising platforms.
You will report into the Head of Go-to-Market on our Strategy & Operations team within the Merchant organization.
On the Merchant Strategy & Ops team, our mission is to have best-in class restaurant selection, build cutting-edge services for our merchants to grow their business, and help our partners operate efficiently on the platform. As the Director of Ads GTM, you'll be responsible for coordinating, executing, and scaling all go-to-market activities to grow our emerging Advertising platform.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will…- Strategize - Build the framework for evaluating how we develop and scale our Advertising products across restaurant segments and channels.
- Implement - Drive the setup, execution and go-to-market of new Advertising product initiatives to help merchants achieve their performance goals
- Analyze - Build models to define success, determine new product KPIs, and support our cross-functional teams
- Experiment - Use data-driven decision making and sound business judgement to execute pilots capturing learnings on product market fit
- Influence - Work cross-functionally with our Merchant, Product, Ops and Sales teams to land key initiatives and inform investment decisions
- You have 10+ years of experience in consulting / strategy / business development / operations / technology / start up / banking or related experience
- You have experience driving broad initiatives and leading teams across an organization
- You have experience building and developing digital Advertising products and partnerships to create value for your customers
- You have Excel mastery (can perform complex functions) and are proficient in SQL and data visualization tools (or are experienced in leading a team that uses these tools)
