Job description

The Inside Sales position is an Entry Level role and is intended to be a stepping stone providing the opportunity for future advancement in sales. The Inside Sales position is responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities for our suite of Analytical & Research tools. The Inside Sales Rep will handle outbound lead generation, qualify active buying interest, and develop opportunities with new prospects which will set the stage for effective sales follow-up.

The position offers an opportunity to work with our team that has created a suite of highly competitive products in the financial market. Compensation includes base salary plus commission and offers health, vision and dental insurance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prospect, qualify, and develop accounts through outbound calls to create sales-ready meetings for the team
• Learn the suite of Zacks products and our competition to successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
• Interact with prospects via telephone and email
• Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity

REQUIREMENTS:

• Desire and willingness to spend a significant portion of the day cold-calling with energy and positive attitude
• Good interpersonal and phone skills
• A strong and determined work ethic
• Good business acumen
• Ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment
• Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent communication, listening and strong writing skills
• Sales and cold-calling experience is a big plus
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Economics is helpful along with a healthy curiosity of the financial markets
