Responsibilities:
Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process
Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
Assists with job posting and advertisement processes
Screens applications and selects qualified candidates
Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers and other stakeholders
Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, start dates, and other pertinent details
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
Attends and participates in college career fairs
Interpret and explain company policies and procedures to employees.
Answer general employee benefits questions.
Assist with HR department research requests pertaining to policies, recruitment, and/or training.
Prepare employment records related to hiring, terminations, leaves, transfers, or position changes.
Conduct exit interviews.
Compile and prepare HR-related status reports as requested.
Handle special Human Resources projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position.
Required skills and experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management with a major/concentration in Human Resources or a related field.
Knowledge of labor laws.
Strong internal and external customer service focus
The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously - orientated on results
Ability to diagnose problems and identify and drive appropriate solutions
Ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bias for action, strong work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence
Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Familiarity with internet sourcing skills, such as Boolean search, and experience with some of the following: LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or other job boards.
Function effectively in a fast-paced recruiting environment.
Willing to travel and work occasional overtime.
Valued but not required skills and experience:
HR internship experience.
1 or more years of HR generalist experience.
Experience at a consulting, professional services, or architecture / engineering firm
Experience working with iCIMS.
HR Certifications
