Job description
Lodge Management Group is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team! The HR Manager provides executive-level leadership and guidance to the organizations HR operations. They are responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally complaint human resources policies, procedure, and best practices, as well as identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals.

Essential Functions:
* Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
* Maintain historical resources records and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
* Maintain and update all training manuals and employee handbooks.
* Collaborates with executive leadership to define the organizations long term mission and goals; identifies ways to support this mission through talent management.
* Investigate and resolve any claims of workplace harassment, discrimination, and wage and hour issues while maintaining communication with the President and Executive
* Advise and coach managers on resolving employee issues, helping resolve complex or significant employee relations issues-including investigations and resolutions.
* Review all employee terminations to determine legal exposure and to ensure fair and consistent treatment of all employees.
* Coordinates or conducts exit interviews
* Provides guidance and leadership to the management team, assists with resolution of human resource, compensation, policy and benefits questions and concerns
* Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management
* Communicates changes to organizations personnel policies and procedures and ensures that proper compliance is followed
* Assists executive team in the annual review, preparation, and administration of the performance appraisal and wage/salary program
* Administer group insurance, including tracking eligibility, enrollment, policy renewals, cancellations, and COBRA administration.
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies within the bar, restaurant and entertainment industry.
* Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures organizations compliance
* Recommends, evaluates and participates in staff development for the organization
Requirements
* Knowledge/experience using HRIS systems
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PPT) and Google Suite
* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and ethical practices
* Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Leadership and navigation
* Highly organized and detail-oriented
* Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
* Knowledge of bar, restaurant, entertainment industry a plus
Qualifications:
* Minimum of Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field required
* Minimum of 5+ years Human Resources Management experience, preferably with 3+ years in the bar, restaurant and entertainment industry
* SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred
