Internal Auditor-Remote

This role is remote, however the candidate needs to live within 2 hours of Chicago, IL

The Internal Audit role is as follows:

Walkthrough (Design Effectiveness)

- - Review management's control and workflow documentation
  - Interview management and process owners asking questions
  - Select 1 transaction and walkthrough the critical workflow of that transaction (multiple controls)
  - Initiate, authorize, record, process and report in General Ledger
  - Finally, it is decided if the control in place and designed properly to cover the associated risk

Job Requirements:

Prepare audit workpapers to support audit findings
Performing an internal compliance audit
Facilitate audit activities throughout the audit period
Recommend changes in internal audit controls
Maintain standard review audit maps and audit procedures
Training less experienced audit personnel in audit routines and conducting audit reviews
