Based in our Chicago office, near the Blue Line - Grand Station, the Recruiter will be involved in the talent acquisition strategy, execution, and end-to-end recruitment for positions, as well as onboarding and HR responsibilities. You will be a part of the Academic Intervention team. In the role, you will interact directly with candidates and hiring managers in the business. Having an in-depth understanding of our business and clients is key to the success of our talent acquisition function. As a recruiter, you must expect to have a close connection to our strategy, leadership, and the work we are doing as a company. The role reports directly to the executive leader of the program.

Responsibilities : Recruiting Support
  • Recruitment, administration and support using applicant tracking system.
  • Create and post requisitions for new positions
  • Phone screen potential candidates, based on position qualifications
  • Document all interview notes and information in the applicant tracking system
  • Partner with management team in all phases of the recruitment processFacilitate the candidate screening process such as background and reference checks
  • Distribute offer letters to new hires.
  • Send renewal letters to current employees for our programs in subsequent years.
  • Perform new employee onboarding tasks.
  • File and track new hire documents accountable for file integrity.
  • Oversee general employee inquiry in-box providing basic employee information and directing more complicated matters to subject matter experts.
Onboarding and HR Administrative Support:
  • Submit and follow candidates through entire onboarding process
  • Upload all new hire documentation
  • Own and act as a subject matter expert for region employee data administration
  • Provide a consultative approach to information for all data requests
  • Assist with audit projects
  • Primary contact for process and system training for HR colleagues and leaders
Qualifications :
  • 2-3 years of recruiting experience in a full life cycle corporate recruiting or staffing agency environment.
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills to read, listen, understand and communicate information and ideas in a clear and understandable manner, both orally and in writing.
  • Able to take direction and learn new processes
  • High Sense of Urgency
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and assignments at once
  • Detail oriented
  • Works well independently and in team settings.
  • Self-directed in follow-through of work.
  • Possess intermediate skillset in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Ability to process information including gathering, assessing, organizing, auditing and verifying data.
  • Exceptional customer service presence and style helpful and courteous to our internal (team members) and external (business) partners
