Site Concerns: Theft, Ticket Switching/Deception, Pick Pocketing, Vandalism, Unruly Patrons, and Robbery.

Guard Duties:

• Report to Manager on Duty in clean uniform and well groomed.
• Check area to ensure that it is clean and orderly.
• Say "Thank you for your support!" to customers as they exit the store while you check their receipt.
• Make sure that no product leaves the store without a receipt.
• Check all Employee's bags as they leave the store.
• Complete daily log (with all of the shift's activities entered daily), paper time sheets, and end of shift reports (For EVERY SHIFT)
• Direct traffic in all medical and emergency situations.
• *Ensure there is no eating or drinking on the sales floor. (Including you as an officer).

• Keep entrance and exit areas clear of carts and baskets.
• Make sure that all doors are locked and secured at the end of the day.
• Follow the rules of engagement.
• Enforce Policy Statement: Safe from Harm.
• Performing surveillance of customers and employees as it relates to theft. Check restrooms, fitting rooms, blind spots and other vulnerable areas for product stashing and tag switching.
• Report all damages to the facility to the Manager on duty.
• Assist in verbally deescalating tense and aggressive situations between employees and patrons.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As unarmed guards your duty is to observe and report. Observation is done continually. You are expected to be on alert and constantly monitoring the store and all people within the store. Any guard caught sleeping on duty will be immediately escorted off of the site and terminated from their position with Tactical Security Chicago. Any guard not performing their duties as instructed will be disciplined accordingly and removed from this site/their position. Officers are not to be on their phones, using unapproved ear buds (listening to music or other distractions).

Duty Times:

As assigned on your schedule. Officers are expected to start their shift on time so allow yourself time to enter the store, put up your personal items (coat, bags, lunch etc) in the assigned area, and check in with the store manager prior to posting at the store entrance/exit. Start times are 9am Mon thru Sat, Store Closing time is 9pm Mon thru Sat. Officer shift times will be 9a-3p and 3p-9p.

Pay: $13.00 per hour
