What You'll Do

To ensure the highest level of service possible to Reef's internal and external customers. To support Operations in ensuring an organized and smoothly run grocery department including ordering, pricing, and inventory control. To meet department objectives for sales, margin, and labor goals.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Completes shipments by processing and loading orders.
• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area - carrying items up to 25 pounds.
• Liaison between Drivers, Suppliers and Operations Crew
• Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
• Provides quality service by following organization standards.
• Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
• Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Completes reports by entering required information.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Outstanding customer service skills
• Previous experience with order picking, loading and unloading inventory
• Inventory control experience
• Ability to handle multiple demands, work under time pressures, and meet deadlines
• Regular, predictable attendance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good computer/typing skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• Occasionally move around the property by walking for extended periods of time.
• Frequently operate small office equipment such as cash register, calculator, copier/printer

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Work is performed in indoor as well as outdoor environments.
• Employees are subject to environmental conditions including extreme heat and cold weather.
• Protection from weather conditions may be provided, but not necessarily from temperature changes.
