Job description

Maven Advisors has been engaged by our client to fill a Senior Business Systems Analyst role. We recently filled a similar role for the same client. Based on that success and increasing client demand, we are filling another role for the team. Our client is based in the greater Chicago (West) and is a Microsoft Gold Partner, specializing in consulting for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform.

Are you the right fit?

This role is great for a balanced left/right brain thinker. A combination of strong analytical skills and solid interpersonal skills is the perfect blend of competencies for the role. You will proactively support on-boarded clients with ongoing system enhancements. You will be spending roughly 65% of your time developing ERP process and systems enhancements and the remainder of your time handling inbound system and process data mapping issues (level 3 escalation).

Mission / Responsibilities

-Manage relationships with client executive stakeholders, end-users, and the internal development team; build trust and nurture relationships

-Provide wide-ranging daily ERP systems support (Microsoft Dynamics365 F&O, and Business Central)

-Proactively identify, analyze and develop functional systems improvements that address our clients' high-priority initiatives; develop basic functional specifications and collaborate with colleagues throughout the firm

-Take ownership of issues and provide exceptional customer service; willingness to "wow" clients and go above and beyond expectations

Required

-7 to10 years + of experience providing business systems support - ERP and/or CRM systems experience or similarly complex line of business applications (this is not a help desk role)

-Strong analytical skills coupled with intellectual curiosity; must be able to map data, troubleshoot workflows, and enhance processes

-Must be resourceful and capable of researching independently and collaborating with internal team members to resolve complex business logic and data challenges

-Experience in business processes enhancement and writing basic to mid-level functional design documents (FDD's)

-Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel (more advanced functions like pivot tables, V-Lookups, and joins); some Excel skills can be learned with the right level of technical aptitude and interest

Preferred

-Basic SQL skills

-External or internal consulting experience

-Experience supporting global, multi-currency business applications and systems

-Project management or project coordination experience

- IT governance experience

-Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform or similar ERP systems (can learn on the job if aptitude an interest is there).

Education

Bachelor's Degree in business or technical discipline
