Job description
The primary responsibilities of a Construction Loan Administrator Senior are to monitor construction loans; analyze construction loan documentation; process draw requests; issue partial payoff letters in addition to completing other related tasks and transactions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Reviews loan documents such as construction loan agreements, construction escrow agreements, contractor agreements, and other required documents in accordance with the loan approval guidelines.
· Reviews construction draw requests and appropriate supporting documents as presented by the customer, including sworn statements, waivers of lien, inspection reports, title endorsements, and other relevant construction documentation in order to approve the disbursement of funds.
· Resolves discrepancies on draw requests.
· Ensures all required documents have been obtained.
· Communicates with internal departments as well as Lenders, Customers, Contractors, Inspectors, Title Companies, and Attorneys.
· Negotiates and engages third party consultants.
· Orders and reviews construction inspections to ensure draws correspond to work complete.
· Handles general loan inquiries from internal and external customers.
· Creates and maintains project spreadsheets for budget and draw analysis.
· Tracks and updates the sales and leasing status of construction projects.
· Prepares partial payoff letters and updates project files/spreadsheets.
· Monitors loan balances and interest reserve. Prepares reports for review by Loan Officers.
· Updates the construction loan database and monthly commitment reports.
· Prepares draw documents for imaging.
· Maintains current department procedures.
· Provides support and assistance to others as needed.
· Periodic project site visits with Lenders/Customers may be necessary.
· Complies with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.

· Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Understanding of construction draw procedures and familiarity with construction documents, such as sworn statements and waivers of lien, is preferred.
Must be able to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and work on multiple concurrent projects. Strong analytical and effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Excel spreadsheet software.
