As a reflection of our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Marketing Team as a Senior Creative Copywriter.


Senior copywriters are accountable to project and protect the brand voice for our family of brands. They partner with other copywriters, designers & all levels of management as well as their internal clients to craft effective messaging in a number of marketing and advertising vehicles in order to inspire the customer, patient, practitioner and employee. The Senior Writer drives campaigns and related projects from conceptualization to rollout, ensuring all communications adhere to the approved Brand vision. They collaborate with the design team to address business goals in the development of editorial and promotional messaging for various individual projects including local and national advertising, email, direct mail, video/tv, radio, instore signing, and digital. Must be able to transition from emotive storytelling to educational materials, to SEO driven content, to social click-bait, to engaging SL & SSLs, to promotional retail on the fly in a dynamic, fast paced team environment with a multitude of projects and initiatives running concurrently. Work closely with our internal departments and key vendors in developing standards for the company across all mediums. Develop corporate identity elements and incorporate them across all materials for a consistent brand experience. Collaborate with internal creative team to concept and develop marketing campaigns and style guides and socialize the strategic direction with other internal and agency partners. Provide direction to VO talent in recording sessions. Mentor Associate Copywriters and Copywriters, creating a team environment where inspiration and risk-taking are encouraged.


Job Duties & Responsibilities:


Copy: Write copy for various print, video/TV & radio scripts, signage and digital materials. Drives execution of projects from beginning to end to ensure consistency of voice and accuracy of information, on time and on strategy. Collaborates with writers, designers and management to ensure each piece delivers a strong brand presence and customer call to action. Also writes articles for online how-to & educational informational tool/blog to engage audiences and drive brand affinity and trust. Conduct appropriate research to ensure authenticity and accuracy of information delivered. 45%


Concepting: Concept and develop complete integrated marketing campaigns in conjunction with creative partners. Focus on thematic brand approach, visual and voice standards, activation ideas and tactical promotion to fully realize breakthrough creative that supports the brand vision and stands out from the clutter. Develop final style guides and messaging matrixes to be shared with internal and external partners. Help craft "the story" to bring the campaign ideas to life for others and ensure the path from business objectives and challenges to the proposed solution is clear and concise. Articulate ideas, solutions and provide sound recommendations to secure alignment around strategic creative solutions. 25%


Brand Steward: Actively foster an environment that makes new ideas possible for yourself and others. Provide non-judgemental critique and guidance to others and remain open to feedback. Build strong, productive relationships. Act as key brand steward and champion in internal creative reviews. Support and/or stand in for Creative Director during internal meetings and reviews as necessary. 10%


Strategy/PM: Participation in project initiation and strategy discussions with internal marketing partners including category marketing managers, CRM and product planning, and other interdepartmental marketing functions. Leverage market insights and business objectives to further creative executions that resonate and drive results. 10%


Craftsmanship: Must be a student of the craft - staying abreast of current retail trends and industry news, new media platforms and best in class practices and procedures. Bring new ideas to ensure we are continuously improving the work and the way we work. Must also ensure authenticity and that the messaging is appropriate to the audience and objective of the project.10%



Minimum Education and Experience:


Bachelor's Degree in Art/Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or related field. 7-10 years experience.


Must have a proven track record delivering creative solutions from concept through final execution. Must have a strong portfolio.


Partner cross-functionally, flexibility, ability to handle change in a fast paced environment, self-starter/proactive, prioritization, problem solving/trouble shooting
